Today is Eid, one of the most important and sacred holidays in the Islamic culture. The most prominent way to celebrate this holiday is to slaughter a cow or goat. Each family takes pride in the size of the animal they will sacrifice. Some of the meat will be eaten by the family, and a portion will be given to the needy. We're told this river here (which is the view out of Sam and Heather's window) is about to turn red with blood. More pictures to follow. . .

Very cool. Make sure you get some bloodthirsty pictures including the river runs red. Can I propose one of you guys sacrifice the cow and get pictorial evidence.
